As a key member of the Source to Contract team, the Data Analyst Intern supports the management and maintenance of procurement and contract-related data across global systems.
In this role, you will work closely with the Global Strategic Data Analyst and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely execution of contract data throughout the Source-to-Contract lifecycle.
You will gain exposure to a broad range of procurement processes and systems, supporting the implementation of component contract data from negotiation outcomes through to execution. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will contribute to maintaining data integrity, supporting operational activities, and enabling informed business decisions.
Position: Data Analyst Trainee
Duration: Part-time 6h/day
Location: Hybrid in Timisoara, Romania (3 days from office)
As part of our team, you will:
- Work with and support one or several Global Strategic Data Analysts throughout the year to support contractual data loading- in order to provide the internal Nokia Procurement customer base with accurate, usable allocated contract data and provide required information to perform necessary negotiations and analysis
- Confirm that contract data is always accurate, up to date and complete for use by the Internal Customers
- Prepare RFQ (Request for Quotation), issue to suppliers, provide follow up analysis and load final allocation, as directed by commodity management
- Attain data confirmation on negotiated parts with regional vendors and suppliers, ensuring data accuracy and compliance at purchasing locations
- Execute contract data management requirements in time according to agreed schedules or project plans in order to maximize savings
- Ensure that the >95% of active component parts by value and >95% by part count are loaded and accurate on the database
- Ensure that <5% part- data/price discrepancy/reject rate by internal users and systems
- Extract different predefined recurrent or ad-hoc reports from our tools and systems
- Interpret data of reporting results by consolidating them into power point presentations, charts, graphics and so on
Must have:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master program in Analytics/ Procurement/ Sourcing
- Excellent skills with the Microsoft package ( Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), especially with Excel – the ability to perform filters, v-lookups, pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas essential
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Romanian (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset and good operational decision-making capabilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines, and collaborate effectively as a team player

- Understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and sourcing best practices
Experience with procurement, contract management, or data analysis tool
