As part of Application Engineering, you are the key ingredient to getting our products integrated by customers. From a feasibility study in the lab to creative explorations of new application ideas.
Tasks
- Program automated tests in Python on Optotune’s lenses to characterize their long-term performance under different environmental conditions
- Explore 3D reconstruction using liquid lenses
- Extend your knowledge on cutting edge technologies in optical and electro-mechanical products
- Support the Application Engineering team in performing feasibility studies or carry out specific tests on Optotune’s products.
Requirements
- Technical background required (MSc or equivalent in engineering or physics)
- Practical programming skills (e.g. C, C#, Python) are required
- Experience in Computer Vision is advantageous
- Friendly and open-minded nature, ability to build & maintain relationships
- Results oriented personality, well organized, autonomous
- Proficiency in English required, good level of German advantageous
