Do you want to gain hands-on experience in developing cutting-edge AI agent solutions while working alongside experienced professionals in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team? Join the Automation team in the Fixed Access department of KPN Networks.

As a Fixed Access intern you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of intelligent agents that leverage the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role offers a dynamic environment where innovation meets practical application, allowing you to develop your technical skill set while making meaningful contributions to real-world projects.

A selection of your tasks as an intern: 

• Develop and implement AI agent framework and solutions specific to generate and maintain up to date documentation in order to support the operations of the network.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design and architect intelligent agent systems.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct testing and debugging of AI agent applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and methodologies relevant to agent development.
• Document technical specifications, design decisions, and implementation details.
• Contribute to team meetings and share insights on project progress and technical challenges.
• Assist in integrating AI agents with existing systems and APIs.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and who has excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following: 

• You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Science, or similar IT/Data-related studies. 
• You have a solid of artificial intelligence and machine learning fundamentals.
• You enjoy working collaboratively, but can also work independently and take responsibility. 
• You speak and write English, and optionally Dutch. 
• You bring knowledge of of AI agent architectures and large language models (LLMs) and have experience with version control systems (Git).
• You deliver high-quality code with sharp focus on detail and clear communication.
• You reside in the Netherlands. 

We appreciate skills in AI frameworks, NLP, API development, Agile or Scrum. If you have AI or ML projects, add your portfolio or GitHub to your CV or cover letter.

• A monthly internship allowance of €600 based on full-time participation.
