Job Title: Academic Outpatient Internist
Location: Apple Hill – York, PA
Employment Type: WellSpan is currently seeking a full-time BC/BE Academic Internist to join our established practice in York.
What you can expect at your practice:
- Outpatient IM teaching practice
- Mix of teaching and clinical responsibilities
- Physician will precept WellSpan IM residents – 1:4
- Telemedicine experience required
- Monday – Friday schedule; Call Rotation consist of phone calls
- Suburban office with access to on-site lab and imaging
- Collegial group of providers that includes 8 full-time core faculty members

Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Administrative skills.
Skills Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Licensed medical physician and surgeon or licensed doctor of osteopathic medicine upon hire
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire
- Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine
- Qualify for and become a member of the hospital medical staff
