As a International Supply Chain Associate, you will perform a variety of physical, clerical and customer support tasks associated with distribution, materials handling, inventory control and instrument logistics.
This is a first shift position: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
What you will do:

Prepare documentation (commercial invoices, packing list,) and products, ensure accuracy of documentation and shipments, and troubleshoot and resolves issues as required

Assist with or coordinates international shipping; reviews, reconciles and approves all incoming international vendor bills of lading

Maintain a clean, orderly and safe warehouse and environment
-
Investigate and resolve inventory inaccuracies and provide root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions

Support inventory processes, solutions and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; includes cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting and reporting

Contact carriers to arrange for international pickups for ocean and air shipments

Research and respond to emails

Prepare dangerous goods shipments

Label pallets ambient and perishable

Audit / reconcile shipments

Book online through various carrier platforms

Perform duties in ambient temperatures, as well as cold storage areas

Possibly operate a forklift on occasion
What you will bring:

High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
-
Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
-
Microsoft Outlook experience is required.
-
Ability to work well under pressure and tight time constraints.
-
Effectively function in a team environment and with minimum supervision required.
-
Ability to work independently.
-
Prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-
Good computer skills and knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability work flexible hours.
-
Able to follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable ISO regulations.

Knowledge of customs rules, regulations and export documentation preferred.

Forklift experience is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: Able to properly lift up to 70 pounds; ability to move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Warehouse-type environment. Normal warehouse environment where protective clothing may be required. Moderate to high noise level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to risk of electrical shock. Ambient temperatures as well as cold storage areas.
