Position Summary
Onboards international business opportunities generated by the sales organizations. Oversees pricing and coordinates the operational execution of international freight routings to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on pricing, routing, and customer account setup.
- Prepares quotes and coordinates the execution of international shipments.
- Adheres to local, domestic, and international laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Maintains existing accounts and enhances the international department.
- Oversees daily international business operations.
- Tracks and allocates budgets and resources for international projects.
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and operations.
- Facilitates cross-cultural training and development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, supply chain, or a related field.
- 2+ years of international logistics or freight forwarding experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of international laws and regulations, including quoting and rate negotiation.
