The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead impactful projects that power the future? Join Hitachi Energy’s Transformer Business Unit as a Power Transformers Project Manager, where you’ll drive complex initiatives across our North American factory network. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project milestones, and ensure successful delivery of high-value solutions. Reporting to the Director of the Program Management Office—HUB North America, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, helping shape the energy landscape while growing your project leadership skills in a supportive, excellence-driven environment.
How You’ll Make an ImpactLead project teams with clear goals, timelines, and feedback.
Manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality to meet customer expectations.
Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate resources across factories and service teams.
Oversee project documentation and risk management strategies.
Monitor project execution to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Support contract negotiations and claims resolution.
Build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or a related field.
PMP certification preferred; Hitachi Energy PM certification required within 2 years.
Proven ability to lead remote teams across multiple locations.
Experience managing scope, cost, schedule, and vendor relationships.
Familiarity with SAP, MS Project, Excel, and other PM tools.
