Excellent opportunity to join the International Private Bank Treasury team in Hong Kong
As an Analyst in the International Private Bank (IPB) Treasury team in Hong Kong, you will leverage strong analytical and technical skills to promote data-promoten decision-making, streamline processes, and optimize ALM strategies, supporting both the team and key stakeholders in especially deposit and lending businesses across the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and manage day-to-day bespoke pricing for loan and deposit bookings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with market conditions
- Analyze and monitor trends in Asia balance sheet flows, covering multiple currencies, product types, and client segments
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated tools and models to improve ALM processes, reporting efficiency, and data integrity
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc ALM reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with Business and Corporate Treasury teams on liquidity management, interest rate risk, and balance sheet optimization initiatives
- Support the business in pricing and profitability related analyses
- Assist in the impact assessment of new business initiatives and projects from a Treasury perspective, providing analytical support and recommendations
- Contribute to process improvement and digitalization efforts within the Treasury function
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline with a strong quantitative background
- Prior experience in a bank treasury, analytical or finance-related role in a bank
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a truly international team environment
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Interest in treasury management, pricing, profitability, and digital transformation within banking is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Python )
