As a Senior Project Manager within our Operations Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various initiatives and business transformation projects. You will engage in multiple projects, spanning the entire project lifecycle, from researching new initiatives to implementing business process changes and system modifications. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Business, Operations, and Technology partners, focusing on delivering project outcomes.
Job responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operations, Middle Office, Finance, Technology, and Senior Management to develop business requirements, procedures, and processes. This includes project planning, resource management, requirements documentation, process mapping, and more.
- Conduct data analysis and synthesis to provide empirical solutions that enhance project reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders to design, introduce, or re-engineer processes and business applications.
- Lead project planning and analysis, including creating detailed project plans, documenting business requirements, and drafting business and technical workflows.
- Facilitate project meetings, create presentation materials, and provide necessary reporting and metrics.
- Engage with external parties such as custodians or transfer agents.
- Processing security transactions, Income payments, Nostro movements, Corporation action processing
Required qualifications, capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in operations, with a focus on supporting migration across legacy and new architectures. This role requires deep operational knowledge, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to manage priorities and resolve migration-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholder groups, including Senior Management, to gather business requirements and develop procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and Skills:
- Experience in various operations teams, such as asset servicing or settlement would be an asset.
