Your role
As International Payroll Specialist, you will manage and coordinate multi-country payroll activities across the EMEA region. You will work closely with HR, Finance, external payroll providers, and subject matter experts to deliver seamless payroll services while ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies.
Beyond day-to-day payroll execution, you'll play an active role in improving processes, driving standardization, and supporting transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
What you will do
As our International Payroll Specialist, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery across multiple EMEA countries. Working closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers, you will act as the driving force behind a smooth payroll operation while continuously looking for ways to improve processes, standardize ways of working, and support payroll transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Manage end-to-end payroll activities across multiple EMEA entities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
- Partner with HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure compliance with local legislation, payroll controls, and reporting requirements
- Perform payroll reconciliations, validate financial data, and support month-end and year-end activities
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives across the payroll landscape
- Maintain high-quality payroll and employee data while supporting system enhancements and implementations
What you bring
You are a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working in an international environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant payroll processes. You combine strong payroll expertise with a proactive mindset and can build effective relationships across HR, Finance, and external partners.
Furthermore, you bring:
- Bachelor's degree, upper secondary vocational education, or equivalent experience in HR, Finance, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-country environment
- PDL and/or VPS certification
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, controls, and payroll compliance
- Experience working with payroll systems and external payroll providers
- Analytical, accurate, and comfortable working with financial reconciliations and reporting
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Proactive, service-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Experience with CloudPay, Deel, or similar payroll platforms
- Experience in a Shared Service Center environment

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 3.800 to € 5.200 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
