Job Description

This position is for work in an on-site format, in Contagem - MG.
 

Who will you be working with?

You will work closely with the Director of BU Solutions and collaborate across Infrastructure, Operations, Security, and multiple business units to deliver IT projects that support Freight Components operations across more than 35 sites globally.

 

How will you make a difference?

As a International IT Technical Product Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. Your work will directly support ERP modernization, application lifecycle roadmaps, and initiatives that enhance operational resilience and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:

    • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including ERP upgrades, application enhancements, and digital integration initiatives.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate project management standards and methodologies.
    • Provide technical guidance on application modernization, ERP systems (Syspro, Epicor Kinetix), and integration projects.
    • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with internal teams and external vendors.
    • Build strong relationships with site leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adoption of solutions.
    • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership.
  • Operational Support:

    • Support the Director in managing operational escalations related to project deliverables.
    • Assist in optimizing the application portfolio by identifying opportunities for standardization and efficiency.
    • Support management of programs and related operations, budgets and vendors needed for engagements.

What do we want to know about you?

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • Extensive experience in IT project management with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Proven track record in ERP systems, application modernization, and integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English.

Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with supply chain systems and digital integration initiatives.
  • Ability to manage complex IT programs and horizontal stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to make decisions with incomplete or conflicting information.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead multiple IT projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with performance and security standards.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide status updates to senior leadership.

Work Environment

  • On-site work model: 5 days onsite at Wabtec office.
  • Occasional travel to global sites.
