Job Description
The International Consumer Bank (ICB) Finance team plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of financial statements, managing capital requirements, and ensuring that business transactions within legal entities comply with all applicable regulatory standards. The Senior Associate position is integral to the team responsible for overseeing International Consumer Business Finance operations in Brazil.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of month-end closing processes for both Local and US GAAPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly US regulatory reports, maintaining adherence to stringent regulatory timelines and standards.
  • Provide comprehensive support in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Drive FP&A activities, including the development and refinement of monthly forecasts, detailed monthly commentary, and the preparation of monthly Executive Management Reports (EMR). Play a pivotal role in the budgeting process.
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategy team to address complex finance-related issues, including tax implications, valuation models, capital management strategies, and accounting policy adherence.
  • Cultivate a positive and respectful team culture, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Extensive experience in regulatory reporting and finance routines, including but not limited to 4010, 4040, DDR, DLO, DRM, and Pillar 3.
  • Profound knowledge of banking products, with a strong emphasis on derivatives and their associated risks.
  • Expertise in bank regulatory capital rules, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial calculations.
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite; familiarity with VBA programming is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both Portuguese and English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Superior analytical and logical reasoning skills, with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
  • A proactive and dynamic approach, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
