What You'll Do:
- Participate in monthly compliance requirements and month end activities;
- Lead the preparation and delivery of successful annual standalone external audits for a number of International entities;
- Support the preparation of the annual direct tax filings, provisional tax filings for International entities;
- Lead the local statutory compliance for a number International entities following the local GAAP and requirements;
- Participate in the preparation and timely filing of all VAT returns for registered International entities;
- Supporting the preparation of the reconciliation and conversion of US GAAP to Local GAAP/IFRS financials;
- Supporting the external audit processes and providing the requested supporting evidence and explanations promptly, with a high standard of delivery;
- Supporting the daily invoice finance review and approval process within MyCoupa for the International regions;
- Work cross functionally and support other accounting functions, as required;
- Participate in initiatives across the company and lead any process improvement initiatives, as identified;
- Provide mentorship and training to more junior members of the International Team; and
- Other duties may be assigned
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Fully Qualified (ACCA/ACA), with 5 years PQE.
- Experience required in finance (Accounting, Tax (indirect/direct/transfer pricing) Controlling, Consolidation & Reporting, Audit etc.).
- Experience working with or in a multinational/global shared service center.
- Experience working on consolidated group audits with foreign reporting is an advantage.
- Big Four experience is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of local International GAAP/US GAAP/IFRS.
- Ability to identify GAAP differences between USGAAP and local accounting standards, being able to articulate these differences.
- Experience in Netsuite, Floqast and myCoupa is an advantage.
