We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our global Finance team and support financial reporting for our international entities. In this role, you'll take ownership of IFRS financial statement preparation and play a key part in our annual statutory audit cycles. You'll work closely with colleagues across time zones and contribute to a finance function that values accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements for multiple international entities,
ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable standards.
• Support the statutory audit process by coordinating with external auditors, preparing
schedules, and responding to audit queries in a timely manner.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account
reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for international subsidiaries across multiple
currencies.
• Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for financial reporting packages.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and intercompany eliminations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local statutory filing requirements in the Philippines and
other assigned jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to gather financial data and
resolve discrepancies.
• Support process improvement initiatives and help document accounting policies and
procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license (Philippines) is strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multinational or shared-
services environments.
• Working knowledge of IFRS; hands-on experience preparing or supporting IFRS financial
statements is required.
• Prior participation in statutory audit support or external audit coordination is a strong
advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment and collaborating across time zones.
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency consolidations.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and the ability to identify key differences with IFRS.
• Experience working with global teams in the US, Europe, or Asia-Pacific.
