Role Overview
This is a senior, high-impact commercial leadership role responsible for accelerating growth across key European channel partners in the Cleaning & Hygiene segment.
As International Account Director Channels, you will own the commercial strategy, key relationships, and execution required to drive profitable, distributor-led growth across multiple markets.
This role operates across Europe in a matrix environment and requires strong leadership and change management capabilities by driving & influencing in working closely with country teams, distributors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Your Impact
You will be accountable for delivering sustainable organic growth across a portfolio of strategic partners, increasing market penetration, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring consistent execution across countries.
You act as the central commercial lead – not coordinating, but actively driving growth, (re)shaping strategy, and ensuring results are delivered across markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Channel Leadership
Define and execute multi-year joint business plans with key European channel partners and local country teams
Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships at both central and local levels
Position Diversey as a preferred long-term partner within the channel ecosystem
Align and implement European channel strategy with local execution across markets
Driving Organic Growth
Deliver measurable organic revenue growth across the channel portfolio
Expand market penetration and increase share of wallet
Identify and activate new growth opportunities within distributor networks
Lead commercial negotiations to ensure value creation and long-term partnership success
Execution Across Markets
Translate European strategy into clear, actionable plans for local teams and monitor execution-with-excellence
Work closely with country Channel leaders to ensure alignment and delivery
Drive accountability and performance across markets
Monitor progress of key initiatives and adjust where needed
Solution & Value-Based Selling
Lead the positioning of Diversey’s solutions as value-driven and differentiated, enabling reporting of realized value-creation
Ensure consistent execution of value propositions and pricing discipline
Support scalable, market-relevant commercial approaches across countries
Market & Performance Insight
Provide actionable insights into market trends, competition, and customer needs
Use data to steer strategy, pricing, and portfolio focus
Track performance, proactively address gaps and follow up with local stakeholders
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a senior commercial leader within the European channel organization
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Corporate teams
Support and coach local teams to strengthen commercial execution
Your Profile
Proven experience in senior commercial roles (e.g. Country, Channel, Key Account, Business Development)
Strong track record in managing strategic partnerships and driving growth
Experience working across multiple countries in a European or international role
Solid understanding of indirect / distributor-led business models
High level of commercial acumen and negotiation skills
