What you will accomplish with us

As an Internal Wholesaler, you will be at the core of our mission. Key responsibilities include:
  • Working closely with the Vice President, Sales, to manage a defined territory and achieve sales objectives.

  • Actively generating new business opportunities through outbound calls and prospecting initiatives with advisors.

  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients and new partners.

  • Maintaining daily contact by phone and videoconference to understand advisors’ business needs and propose tailored solutions.

  • Following up on meetings, roadshows, events, and webinars in support of the Vice President, Sales.

  • Maintaining and organizing information related to products, policies, and procedures to provide high-quality client support.

  • Supporting participation in regional events and roadshows through outbound calling campaigns.

  • Collaborating with the Sales Assistant for the territory to prioritize actions and deliverables.

  • Making daily calls related to subscriptions and redemptions to identify trends, business opportunities, and new investors.

  • Achieving the territory’s sales objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Creating and distributing marketing communications and newsletters for advisors.

  • Producing fund comparisons and analyses using Morningstar Advisor Workstation and YCharts.

  • Actively participating in national, regional, and departmental meetings, as well as special projects.

  • Contributing to client segmentation and the development of the territory’s annual business plan, in collaboration with the Vice President, Sales.

  • Escalating client issues to the appropriate teams when required.

  • Participating in special events, including occasional evening or weekend activities.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a DEC or bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or another relevant field.

  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial sales, investment product distribution, or a similar role.

  • Is recognized for the ability to build strong, lasting business relationships.

  • Stands out for rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrates a strong results orientation, autonomy, and initiative.

  • Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves regular communication and relationship-building with advisors, business partners, and internal teams located outside Québec.

Professional assets:

  • Holds the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), required; IFIC, CIM, CFP, or CFA are considered assets.

  • Proficiency with Morningstar Advisor Workstation and YCharts.

Compensation – British Columbia

The typical hiring range for this position is $70,500 to $92,500 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
