Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? Join our close-knit team as an Internal Wholesaler, where you will work to drive sales and build long-lasting relationships within the brokerage and dealer community.

Reporting to the Vice President, National Inside Sales, the Internal Wholesaler is primarily responsible for proactive sales efforts with both existing clients and new prospects. As part of the Wholesaling Team, you will work closely with the VP, Sales and Territory Sales Assistant in a designated territory to generate sales, develop new business opportunities and support advisor relationships.

What you'll accomplish with us

As an Internal Wholesaler, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Partner with the VP, Sales to manage a defined territory, generate sales and develop new business opportunities.
  • Actively generate and develop new business relationships and make outbound proactive prospecting calls to advisors.
  • Use daily video and phone contact with clients to begin or expand relationships, understand their business and client needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Provide essential support to the VP, Sales through timely follow-up on meetings, road shows, events and webcasts.
  • Ensure regional events and road shows are well attended through outbound call campaigns and make daily Purchase and Redemption calls to identify trends, prospects and first-time tickets.
  • Create broadcast emails with marketing and product information, as well as fund comparisons and analytics for advisors using Morningstar Advisor Workstation and YCharts.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Sales and Territory Sales Assistant on territory priorities, client segmentation, service levels, strategic business planning and quarterly reviews, while maintaining product information and escalating client issues as required.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of investment products and the investment industry, along with proficiency in Morningstar Advisor Workstation and YCharts.
  • Is recognized for being results-driven, proactive, self-motivated and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Has a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • Holds the CSC designation (required); IFIC, CIM, CFP or CFA designations are considered assets.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively and independently, with flexibility to attend territory events, travel occasionally and support evening or weekend activities when required.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 73 214$ and 96 093$ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
