Internal Tools Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal tools that empower many operators from various teams across the organization.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure our tools streamline workflows and meet business needs.
• Integrate with internal systems and third-party APIs to enhance functionality.
• Write efficient, scalable, maintainable and well-tested code using modern best practices.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliability and rapid issue resolution.
• Engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our internal infrastructure.
• Translate operational needs into technical solutions

Experience and Background:

• Experience writing enterprise-level code in languages like Javascript, Ruby or Python.
• Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and schema design.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Experience with SQL

Bonus Points

• Experience writing well tested, type-safe code using Typescript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience building internal tools or dashboards that drive business operations.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to data visualization frameworks or tools.
