We’re looking for a responsible, observant, and proactive Internal Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and company assets. As a critical part of our operations, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining a secure and professional working environment.
Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized individuals are granted entry.
Perform routine patrols within the premises to identify and address any security risks or breaches.
Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and report any irregularities to the appropriate authorities or management.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitors in the security logbook or digital system.
Collaborate with HR and Operations to enforce company policies regarding ID badges, restricted areas, and equipment handling.
Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations, medical incidents, or fire drills.
Conduct bag checks or personal item checks when required, in accordance with company policy.
Support investigations related to internal incidents such as theft, property damage, or misconduct.
Minimum 3 CXC/CSEC inclusive of English or equivalent required.
COC is required. Receipt will be accepted.
Proven experience in a security role, preferably within a corporate or call center environment.
Certification in basic security training or law enforcement background is an asset.
Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and act quickly in stressful situations.
Professional demeanor, high integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
Must be available to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
