Then this position is for you. As an Internal Sales Officer, you are an important link between our customers and the organization. You are responsible for processing and following up on orders, maintaining customer contact, and supporting the sales process.
You will report to the Manager JOST Benelux and will be internally supported by a commercial and technical team consisting of internal sales and engineering, as well as by the head office in Germany.
What will you do?- Assess incoming orders for completeness of information
- Assist customers from both a commercial and technical perspective
- Enter, process, and follow up on quotations and sales orders
- Communicate changes in prices, delivery times, and policies to internal and external customers
- Keep customer and project files up to date with all relevant information
- Maintain customer data in the systems
- Perform administrative tasks to support internal processes
- Advise customers on products and services
- At least MBO (secondary vocational education) level of working and thinking
- Preferably 3 years of experience in an internal commercial/sales support role
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written (German and French are a plus)
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- A proactive and hands-on work attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
