Summary Generated by Built In
A dynamic technology consultancy and managed services provider is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Sales Consultant / Coordinator to join their growing team. This dual-function role is designed to streamline the sales pipeline by bridging the gap between hardware procurement and account management support.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end progression of hardware deals and providing high-level administrative coordination for the Account Management team. Operating primarily within HaloPSA (HALO), this role ensures that sales opportunities move efficiently from initial quote to final purchase order, maintaining rigorous data accuracy throughout the process.
Phase 1 first 4 months of position

Quoting & commercial ownership (hardware):
Generate hardware quotes and revisions, ensuring the quote is accurate and customer-ready.
Own pricing and margin decisions on hardware quotes (within internal guidance/expectations for margin and commission outcomes).
Maintain quote records in HaloPSA as part of the sales process and opportunity workflow.
Quote-to-order progression & coordination:
Drive internal progression when customers proceed (e.g., capturing purchase order details and coordinating supplier placement steps).
Coordinate delivery requirements and logistics details needed to fulfil hardware orders (handoff to relevant internal parties/vendors).
Manage supplier lead-time realities and communicate practical options internally so customers are updated appropriately.
Phase 2 — after first 4 months this will be ongoing focus.
Account Manager Admin Support (Internal Sales Coordination)
HaloPSA sales administration for account managers:
Support account managers by managing the admin workflow in HaloPSA: working with sales tickets and converting them to opportunities when quoting is required.
Keep opportunities updated and maintain accurate opportunity/quote records so the sales team has visibility.
Quote & order admin execution:
Prepare and update quotes based on technical or customer input, including add-ons (e.g., additional licensing/hardware requests routed via sales). Coordinate purchase order documentation and ensure order details are complete for supplier processing.
Success Measures:
Hardware quotes produced quickly, accurately, and with sensible margins aligned to commission outcomes.
HaloPSA opportunities/tickets updated consistently so the sales pipeline remains reliable.
Reduced admin load for account managers through reliable quote, order, and documentation coordination.
Requirements
Experience in internal sales / sales coordination where you create and manage quotes and follow through to order processing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work items concurrently (quotes, revisions, order steps).
Tools & Systems:
HALO (HaloPSA) experience is a strong advantage, including working with opportunities, sales tickets, and converting tickets into opportunities as part of the quoting process.
