Job Description Summary:
Main Tasks
and Responsibilities

  • Design, construction and development of the quality department for a new plant in Hungary
  • Planning, construction, implementation and correction of the quality management system
  • Regular reporting to management on the status and effectiveness of the development of the quality department and the QM system
  • Define procedures and instructions to ensure system, product, and process quality
  • Formation of the company's quality strategy and quality objectives
  • Monitoring and defining measures in case of deviation from quality objectives
  • Define immediate action in case of critical quality issues
  • Plan, execute and monitor internal process buyouts
  • Plan and track product audits and recertification checks
  • Plan and monitor LPA audits and resulting actions
  • Plan, execute and monitor internal system and process audits
  • Implementation of budget and training planning for the Quality Department
  • Conducting class meetings and employee evaluations
  • Create and update a rating matrix
  • Initiating and accompanying external system audits
  • Planning and accompanying customer audits
  • Identification of potential for error and identification of appropriate preventive measures
  • Compliance with quality assurance deadlines in the process of new parts (Program / APQP) and serial parts (production), as well as in complaint handling
  • Compliance with the financial budget of the Quality Department


Minimum
requrements of study:

  • Mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar qualifications
  • Years of experience in automotive manufacturing/engineering environment with project management responsibilities
  • In the automotive sector, a business network is an advantage (relationships with OEMs, TIERs, etc.)


Soft skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP)
  • Excellent knowledge of IATF 16949, AIAG and VDA requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge of customer-specific requirements, especially German OEMs
  • Fluency in Hungarian and Business German/English
