The Role
Description

Clune Tech is a world-leading provider of international taxation, finance, and fulfilment services to clients in over 100 countries ranging from blue-chip financial service companies to individual investors & cross-border workers.

Sprintaxpart of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software that provides a number of tax related services to non-residents in the United States. We help thousands of international visitors such as students, scholars, teachers, trainees, researchers, work and travel participants and other foreign individuals that are temporary in the United States each year with the preparation of their tax returns.

Currently we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Dividends Tax Specialist. This role involves reviewing client tax documents, obtaining Certificate of Residence, preparing tax refund claims, maintaining accurate records in our CRM system, and communicating with clients via email to gather information or provide updates.

Requirements
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of tax documentation and refund processes is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Effective office, time management and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial approach to working in a small team
  • Computer literacy – knowledge of Microsoft Office package

Responsibilities:

Why you will be doing?

  • Review and verify client-submitted tax documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Obtaining Certificate of Residence (CoR) based on customers’ country of residence
  • Prepare and submit tax refund claims in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Update and maintain client information and case status in the CRM system
  • Communicate with clients via email to request documentation, clarify details, or provide updates on their case status
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Research, determine and document the best practices for DWT tax reclaim, including CoR requests and upfront tax relief procedures in a range of countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and US.
