As our Internal Logistics Administrator, you will join a team that keeps AQA’s summer series running smoothly, working in a hands-on role where your organisation, communication and people skills will help you make a real impact.
You will play a key part in supporting the production, movement and tracking of materials that help AQA deliver fair and reliable assessment for learners of all abilities.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the production, receipt and distribution of digital and physical materials to keep summer series activity on track.
- Updating trackers, logs and datasets to make sure information is accurate and supports good decision making.
- Supervising seasonal colleagues to maintain productivity, quality and positive working relationships.

Purpose• Work within the Digital Logistics team to support internal and external customers through the set up, delivery and post summer series activities, helping AQA deliver on its aim to never let a learner down.
• Supervise groups of seasonal colleagues during key operational periods, ensuring quality, accuracy and productivity are maintained.
• Step up to support line management where required, contributing to a positive team culture and smooth delivery of all Digital Logistics operations.Landscape
Work within the Digital Logistics team made up of 5 permanent and five FTC colleagues, as part of the wider Internal Logistics function.
The team is supported by around 90 seasonal colleagues during the summer series.
The role blends administrative work with hands on operational activity and regular supervision of seasonal colleagues.
Where appropriate, the role may also step up to take on line management responsibilities to support team delivery.
Activities
Operational and Administrative Responsibilities
Support the production, receipt, processing and distribution of digital and physical materials to ensure smooth delivery of the summer series and related activity.
Update trackers, logs and datasets to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Manage shared inboxes or CRM queries, responding to internal and external customers professionally.
Process reports, summaries and operational data as required to support team decision making.
Communicate regularly with key internal teams including Standardisation, Moderation, Marking, Associate Resourcing and others to support joined up delivery.
Liaise with external contacts such as associates, schools and colleges to resolve queries and maintain good working relationships.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise groups of seasonal colleagues during peak periods, providing clear guidance and daily support.
Schedule tasks and assign work for seasonal colleagues to keep activities on track.
Check productivity, accuracy and quality across assigned tasks, ensuring work meets agreed standards.
Give basic performance feedback to seasonal staff to help maintain a positive and productive environment.
Escalate operational or people related issues to Internal Logistics Leads in a timely way.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to setup, delivery and wash up activities for the summer series.
Support technology or system rollouts where needed.
