The Internal & External Talent Attraction Lead will play a key role in shaping a unified, high-impact attraction strategy that not only engages top external talent but also champions internal mobility and career growth. 
 
You’ll act as a strategic partner to our Talent Acquisition team, ensuring hiring managers are supported with clear, consistent, and inclusive approaches to finding the right talent—wherever it may sit. 
 
This role plays a key part in positioning the bank as an employer of choice, leading external & internal attraction efforts, social media campaigns, and recruitment marketing initiatives. The role requires strong partnership with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with talent needs and brand messaging. 

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in leading the design and delivery of talent attraction strategies across internal and external channels, tailored to key business areas and workforce plans. 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective talent attraction and employee branding strategies that drive candidate engagement and elevate brand perception 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers to deliver a superior recruitment experience—one that’s efficient, brand-aligned, and candidate-focused. 

  • Ability to Plan, create, and execute social media and internal & external recruitment campaigns to drive visibility and engagement with key talent audiences. 

  • Ability to take a data driven approach – using analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent attraction strategies, with the ability to pivot based on data insights 

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Understanding of Digital Marketing principles, including social media, content marketing, paid campaigns and how they relate to recruitment marketing 

  • Experience of leveraging insights, trends, and talent data to inform campaigns and measure performance 

  • Content Creation: Developing engaging recruitment content including job ads, career site materials, employee stories, and videos etc 

What else you need to know:

This role is based in Unity Place – Milton Keynes. 

We want our people to thrive at work and home and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).  

If you apply for this role in this location, it’s important you consider your travelling distance, time and cost from your home to the office location.

How we’ll reward you.

As well as a salary, we offer a wide range of benefits that you can choose from and tailor to your needs.  

  • (Starting salary of £36,150 plus a) £500 annual cash allowance to spend on our great range of benefits. 

  • Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus.

  • We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
