Internal & External Marketing Communications Manager

Job Description SummaryWe are Dowty, a GE Aerospace company, and we're hiring for a marketing communications manager to join our team, onsite at our cutting-edge manufacturing site in Brockworth near Gloucester. This is a permanent role with hybrid working, three days per week onsite, with two days per week working remotely.
Partnered with our Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you'll be responsible for sourcing, writing and delivering effective and engaging marcomms material for our internal stakeholders and external customers alike.
You'll combine strategic insight with hands-on execution to develop and deliver our internal and external communications and customer engagement strategy. You'll be a strategic thinker, skilled in messaging creation, storytelling, digital communications, and events management, with strong self-starter capabilities.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities

• Use storytelling to deliver compelling and high impact content to engage customers and employees across our owned channels.

• Develop and articulate marketing communications and positioning for the Company and its products, together in support of sales campaigns and external events. To effectively use this messaging repository to create a portfolio of marketing assets for use by the business.

• Act as primary liaison for creative, events and marketing agency stakeholders to deliver impactful content and marketing materials in line with brand guidelines.

• Measure and optimise the performance of marketing communications campaigns, as required.

• Manage the Company's events calendar of external industry shows, trade shows, customer conferences, and internal all employee events.

• Lead the establishment of a simple, digital customer satisfaction engagement programme that enables impactful decisions and strategies that will improve the overall B2B experience and provide a strong voice of the customer (VOC).

• Own the Company's social media channels and support the ongoing development of the company website as primary mediums for delivering customer-focused content.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience of corporate communications is essential.

• Experience working within a technology, engineering and/or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

• Proven track record in B2B marketing and/or communications.

• Strong storytelling abilities and a proven track record in creating content for different channels (internal, web, social media, PR, email).

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manages multiple projects and tasks effectively.
