- Participate in editorial meetings and manage assigned content from initial briefing through drafting, review, approval, and publication.
- Contribute content to special publications such as Focus Nigeria, Partnership Magazine, and CSR or corporate reports.
C. Event Coverage and Reporting
- Provide internal communication coverage of events including management visits, asset activities,safety campaigns, and community engagements. Produce post-event reports, feature articles,photo stories, and summaries for use across internal communication channels.
- Support coverage of selected external events where required.
D. Leadership Communication Support
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of speeches, talking points, presentations, and internal messages for leadership as directed.
- Maintain accurate records, archives, and repositories of approved and validated communication materials.
E. Digital and Multimedia Communication
- Support regular updates and content management on intranet and Viva Engage platforms.
- Develop basic visual and multimedia communication materials including infographics, photo stories, and campaign assets to support internal communication initiatives.
F. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with departments, assets, and functional teams to source information and confirm accuracy of content prior to publication.
- Act as a communication liaison to support information flow and collaboration across teams, locations, and hierarchies.
G. Crisis and Sensitive Communication Support
- Support internal communication during incidents and emergency situations.
- Apply approved crisis communication protocols with speed, accuracy, discretion, and sensitivity. Ensure strict adherence to instructions and approval processes in high-risk or regulated situations.
H. Monitoring, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
- Track readership, engagement, and feedback metrics across digital communication platforms.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative inputs for internal communication performance reporting.
- Support identification of improvement opportunities based on engagement insights and stakeholder feedback.
