The Role

Location: Hybrid:

Location Status: Work will be primarily performed onsite at our office or remotely by telecommuting from your home office 2 - 4 days per week. Employee will be required utilize personal phone or internet services to perform telecommuting with reimbursement. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or other off-site locations may be required.

Position Impact:

The Internal Communications & Operations Project Manager is a strategic, cross-functional role responsible for driving internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and operational process improvement across locations.

This position serves as a key liaison between the Operations Administration Manager and Office Administrators, ensuring alignment, accountability, and consistent execution of operational standards. The ideal candidate is both creative and operationally disciplined — capable of crafting compelling communications while leading structured projects, refining processes, and standardizing workflows across the organization.


Requirements

 Essential Responsibilities

Internal Communications Strategy & Execution

• Develop, write, and distribute internal communications aligned with company goals and operational priorities.

• Create presentations, toolkits, graphics, and multimedia content to support leadership messaging and department initiatives.

• Standardize communication templates and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across locations.

• Identify communication gaps and implement improved messaging channels to enhance engagement and transparency.

• Support executive communications and cross-functional announcements.

Operations Project Management & Process Optimization

• Lead cross-functional operational projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and outcomes are met.

• Act as the operational bridge between the Operations Administration Manager and Office Administrators, translating strategic direction into structured action plans.

• Develop, refine, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and scalability.

• Audit and evaluate existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and process gaps.

• Implement improved systems and tracking mechanisms to enhance accountability and operational performance.

• Facilitate recurring syncs to ensure adherence to processes and address operational roadblocks.

• Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and updates summarizing project status and key metrics.

• Support change management initiatives by driving adoption of new tools, policies, or procedures.

Employee Engagement & Cross-Department Collaboration

• Support employee recognition initiatives and engagement campaigns.

• Assist in strategic planning and communications for internal programs and events.

• Gather feedback from Office Administrators and cross-functional teams to continuously improve communication and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for US employment without sponsorship

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Communications, Operations, or related field)

• 3+ years of experience in project management, operations coordination, internal communications, or a related field

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, Teams)

• Strong experience in presentation design, visual storytelling, and content development

Core Skills & Competencies

• Proven ability to lead projects from initiation through completion with strong timeline and dependency management

• Experience developing, refining, and standardizing SOPs and operational documentation

• Strong workflow analysis and process improvement capabilities

• Ability to influence and drive accountability without direct authority

• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills

• Advanced presentation development and storytelling skills

• Graphic design and multimedia content creation experience

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail

• Experience supporting change management and system implementation initiatives

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills

Work Schedule & Flexibility

• Additional in-office presence as needed for collaboration and project initiatives

• Occasional travel to support regional initiatives or operational rollouts
