Internal Communications Intern

EDUCATION: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field. EXPERIENCE: Previous internships or work experience in communications, marketing, or a related role is advantageous. Experience with internal communication platforms and tools is a plus. SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Required Skills: Strong attention to detail and consistency in writing style. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking. Develop innovative content to present information in an engaging way. Capability to track and analyze communication metrics and assess the effectiveness of communication strategies to make data-driven improvements. Strong collaboration abilities to work with various departments and effective at building relationships to understand stakeholder needs. Preferred Skills: Proficiency with Canva for design and content creation. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products including Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Knowledge of AP style for writing and editing. REQUIREMENTS: Remain stationary for extended periods Ability to communicate information Ability to operate a computer ​
