Job Description:

Cambria is seeking a passionate, detail-driven Experiential Marketing and Communications Associate to bring our brand to life through exceptional event execution and innovative communications. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing Cambria’s brand reputation, strengthening employee engagement, and expanding our philanthropic reach. By coordinating a diverse range of events—from employee engagement activities and philanthropic initiatives to customer-centric experiences and sponsorship activations—you will deliver high-impact experiences that align with Cambria’s mission and values.

As a key liaison among cross-functional teams, you’ll support every stage of event planning and execution, manage logistics, oversee budget tracking, and ensure cohesive brand messaging across all communications.

Your work will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences that deepen connections with both internal and external audiences, supporting our commitment to excellence and innovation in experiential marketing and communications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Experiential Marketing: 

    • Drive the seamless coordination of customer experience trips and regional events to create unforgettable brand moments. Take ownership of logistics planning to deliver high-quality experiences aligned with our brand vision.

    • Oversee all facets of event logistics, from venue selection to on-site coordination, maintaining clear and proactive communication with both internal and external partners to ensure flawless event delivery and impactful results..

    • Play a pivotal role in planning and executing a variety of events, from sponsorship activations and product launches to internal events. 

    • Monitor event investments closely, collaborating with the Experiential Marketing team to align on cost-efficiency strategies.

    • Capture valuable insights through post-event and trip summaries, providing actionable feedback to inform ongoing enhancements and elevate future experiential marketing initiatives.

  • Internal Communications & Employee Engagement: 

    • Develop and distribute engaging, informative content across internal channels (screens, email, The Source, Slack), supporting organizational messaging and employee engagement. 

    • Work cross functionally to support business stakeholders with comprehensive communication plans and activations, 

    • Manage calendars and support content creation.

  • Philanthropy: 

    • Support the execution of Cambria’s philanthropic programs and community initiatives, including managing donation requests, tracking financial support, and coordinating donation materials. 

    • Partner with team to develop and communicate impactful initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Exceptional Communication Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. Ability to maintain open and effective communication with team members, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Organizational Mastery: Highly organized and efficient in managing multiple projects and deadlines, with the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure seamless event execution and timely communications.

  • Design and Visual Skills: Proficiency in design principles with experience using graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite/XD, Canva) to create visually engaging content for events, presentations, and internal communications.

  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to event planning and project management, ensuring nothing is overlooked and all logistics are executed precisely, from budgeting and scheduling to vendor coordination.

  • Proactive and Solution-Oriented Mindset: Skilled in anticipating challenges and proactively addressing potential issues to maintain smooth event workflows, while seeking opportunities to optimize processes and improve outcomes.

  • Team-Oriented with a Positive Attitude: Collaborative and adaptable, with a professional and upbeat demeanor that contributes to a supportive team environment, even during high-pressure situations.

  • Ability to Excel in a Dynamic, Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working in an energetic, high-stakes setting with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Workday, Monday.com) to streamline event planning, track milestones, and maintain alignment with cross-functional teams.

  • Creative Problem Solver: Ability to think quickly and creatively to resolve on-the-spot issues during events, ensuring smooth execution and positive brand experiences.


 

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, degree in Communication, Marketing, or related field

Experience: 1 - 2 years experience in Communication or Marketing, with event planning and logistics experience.

Systems: Profieciency in Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite (Workfront preferred).

Additional Requirements:

Managerial Responsibilities: None

Travel Requirements: Limited travel to business partners or other Cambria locations, primarily corporate locations in Le Sueur and Belle Plaine, Minnesota.

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for displays, samples and other marketing materials.
