The Internal Communication Specialist & Office Manager plays a critical role within CADE. This position reports to the Vice President of Research Strategy and Faculty Development. This individual is responsible for
supporting the operational and communication needs of CADE. The role is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of CADE offices while executing internal communication to CADE’s constituents that align with the center’s mission and vision.
Job Summary
Responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies to promote the hospital's brand, disseminate information to internal stakeholders, and maintain a positive public image by collaborating with various departments to create compelling content, coordinate media relations, and engage with internal audiences through various communication channels.Does this position require Patient Care? Essential Functions
-Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with the hospital's goals and objectives.
-Collaborate with the community relations team to support community engagement efforts and enhance the hospital's public image within the community.
-Identify target audiences and determine appropriate communication channels to effectively reach and engage internal stakeholders.
-Serve as a primary point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate media relations activities.
-Write press releases, media advisories, and other media-related materials to share hospital news, events, and initiatives.
-Create compelling and informative content for internal communication channels, such as the hospital website, blog, newsletters, and social media platforms.
-Manage the hospital's social media presence and engage with internal audiences through platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
-Monitor and respond to comments, inquiries, and messages received through social media channels and other digital communication platforms.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Public Communications required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Communications/Public Relations Experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of media relations practices, including building relationships with media outlets and writing press releases.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, digital communication tools, and content management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and accurate content for various channels and audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
