- Proficient with IDC-10-CM/PCS required
- Auditor experience preferred
- Professional and facility coding experience preferred
- Previous training experience preferred
Certifications
- CPC, COC, CIC, CRC, CCS or CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT certification is required
- CPMA certification preferred
Skills/Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of Official coding guidelines and CPT guidelines required
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required
- Knowledge of auditing concepts preferred
