The Internal Auditor will be responsible for performing assigned audit engagements including planning, testing and communicating risks, scope and results to various levels of management. The Internal Auditor will identify risks and assess the effectiveness of the control environment; including testing the design and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
This position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio and requires onsite attendance each Wednesday.

- Planning, executing and documenting internal control assessments
- Planning, executing and documenting operational and financial audit activities
- Identifying improper conditions and making recommendations for improvements
- Planning, executing and documenting activities while assisting senior auditors with advisory engagements
- Assisting in requests related to other team members, auditees and external auditors
- Limiting expense of public accountants by completing internal audit assignments in a manner which can be relied upon by independent accountants

What you need to be successful
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
- At least three years of experience working within the accounting or finance area
- At least two years of audit experience
- A basic understanding of the role of information technology and information technology general controls
- A professional certification such as a CPA or CIA preferred
