Job Summary: The Financial Audit Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial audits and assessments of business processes, debts, and assets. The role is crucial in determining the financial standing of the organization while ensuring adherence to the best accounting and auditing practices. Responsibilities: • Examining Financial Statements: Reviewing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. • Assessing Internal Controls: Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes. • Conducting Audits: Leading audit projects, including planning, executing, and reporting on audit findings. • Providing Recommendations: Offering insights and recommendations for improving financial practices and procedures. • Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with cross functional teams to understand business operations and financial processes. • Staying Informed: Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and accounting standards. • Desire for Learning and Growth: Show a strong willingness to learn and adapt in the finance sector. Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. • Practical experience in accounting or finance. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Familiarity with financial reporting standards like GAAP. • A proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work independently.
