Inside the Role
As an Internal Auditor, you will provide independent reviews and evaluations of complex business procedures and related controls – all with the goal of improving the risk situation across the Daimler Truck Group. For audit projects, you will work with and as necessary, lead small, interdisciplinary teams. You will be part of an international team and regularly travel domestically as well as internationally - if necessary, for extended periods. Position offers a starting salary range of $95,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
Prepare and conduct internal audit projects for Daimler Truck Holding AG and Daimler Truck AG with a focus on the US/CAN/MEX in line with internal and external standards (IIA). While the position focuses on our operations in the US, Canada and Mexico, audit projects can involve any of our global locations.
Communicate audit results and measures to be taken to mitigate identified risks with relevant management, including top management.
Review and evaluate diverse and complex business procedures and related controls regarding economic efficiency, security, transparency, compliance, safeguarding of assets, correctness of reporting as well as implementation of guidelines and strategies within the company.
Conduct assessments of complex situations and data, by applying sophisticated analytical strategies as well as professional judgment.
Generate audit reports, that articulate identified issues and agreed actions in a clear and concise manner.
Recommend, discuss and obtain commitment for corrective action steps as well as corresponding timelines with management across relevant business functions.
Document audit activities and results comprehensively and in line with data privacy regulations.
Monitor the timely implementation of agreed upon action plans.
Provide proposals for the further development of work programs and audit tools/methods within Corporate Audit (CA).
Maintain professional expertise and provide proposals for the further development of work programs and audit tools within Corporate Audit.
Contribute meaningful topics for the development of the annual audit plan.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business or similar degree and 5+ years of combined professional experience in core business functions (e.g. Operations, Sales, Aftermarket, Finance).
Working experience within Daimler Truck and knowledge of Daimler Truck organizational structures, processes, systems and guidelines in the core business functions – specifically for DTNA and DVCM.
Ability to successfully cooperate within small and diverse teams.
Analytical, process-oriented and independent thinking.
Ability to apply professional judgement to diverse and complex situations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbally and in writing).
English language skills (business fluent).
Willingness to obtain an audit-related professional certification.
An attached resume required.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Audit related professional certification preferred (CIA, CPA, CISA).
Direct experience working at a DTNA production facility.
Professional experience in more than one business-relevant field.
Further language skills (e.g. Spanish, German).
Master’s Degree in business-relevant fields.
