POSITION SUMMARY
This summer the intern will be introduced to the Sarbanes-Oxley act through annual compliance project planning, process walkthroughs, and control testing. The intern will also be a team member on an internal audit and gain perspective on the phases of an internal audit and the role of an auditor.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- College student studying accounting, finance or related area who is entering into their Junior or Senior year at an accredited College or University
- Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and verbal communication; and presentation skills
- Previous internships/work and/or coursework experience with public accounting / consulting firm, industry exposure preferred.
- Displays soft skills effectively and promotes teamwork.
- Awareness of internal audit process and Sarbanes-Oxley Act preferred.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite and other related platforms/systems
- Out of the box thinking, problem solving, relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Fluent in English, oral and written required.
- Ability to adjust schedule to meet business needs.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
During the internship, the intern will participate in the following:
- Offering critical compliance and assurance services.
- Assisting with the annual audit plan.
- Regularly Communicate with supervisor work progress, concerns, and questions

- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
