Intern - Accountant

Full Time (40h/week)
6-month contract
CSC is seeking a creative, inquisitive, and detail-oriented student join the Capital Market team. Our Capital Market Intern Program gives you the opportunity to participate in servicing our Capital Market and Securitization client base. Some of the things you'll learn from us:
• Learn how to participate in servicing our Capital Markets and Securitization client base. • Understand how to work with our senior staff and management to gain a well-rounded accounting experience in the growing Capital Markets sector, in particular, Securitization structures. • Learn all fundamental aspects of accounting including hands on work with preparation of Capital Markets accounting books and records, cash reconciliation, investment reconciliations, financial statement preparation, BCL/ECB reporting for securitization entities and ad hoc client projects.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
• Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program• Graduating or ready for full-time employment • Accounting majors preferred, Finance and Economics majors leaning toward a career in accounting will be considered• Strong Excel skills• Strong attention to detail• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment• An inquisitive nature.
