As a Human Resources Intern, located at our Ashtabula, OH facility, you will play a vital role in supporting our team by assisting with all aspects of the recruitment process. You'll gain valuable experience in sourcing top talent, managing candidate applications, contributing to a positive candidate experience, and coordinating the employee lifecycle tasks within our HRIS (Workday).

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to ongoing talent acquisition projects and initiatives (e.g., onboarding experience, employee involvement initiatives, etc).
• Assist with sourcing qualified candidates through online platforms, social media, and employee referrals.
• Screen resumes and cover letters, and interview hourly candidates to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements.
• Assist with maintaining and updating our Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (all majors welcome).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, enthusiasm for learning, and a positive attitude.
