PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

Are you studying a bachelor’s or a master’s degree within design / product development and are enthusiastic and eager to learn? You wish to become a part of a creative office in the heart of Copenhagen?

At our office facilities in the heart of Copenhagen, you will become part of an energetic office community, consisting of approx. 50 colleagues looking forward to welcoming you in our team. The duration of the internship is ten months starting from 3 September 2025 until 30 June 2026.
 

About the internship

At HAY Product Development Accessories, we design and develop new products for the HAY accessories collection. We are a team of six dedicated colleagues consisting of Senior Product Developers and Junior Product Developers. You will gain hands-on experience working on challenging real-life projects in an environment with competent and passionate colleagues, who will support you while you add invaluable work experience to your resumé.

As an intern in our team, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Graphic illustrations and concept presentations
• Preparing technical drawings and descriptions
• Support the Packaging Team with drawings and ideas
• Analysing, handling, shipping and overviewing new samples
• Ad hoc tasks

The above responsibilities will provide you with a good understanding of a professional product development process in our Accessories Development Department.

What we expect

• As a person, you solution oriented, well-structured, detail oriented and someone who also delivers great results
• You thrive in an environment of experimentation, adaptability, and tight deadlines
• You possess good English communication skills, both written and spoken
• You are passionate about design and product development, and enthusiastic and eager to learn more

Experience required

• You are studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree within design / product development and are enthusiastic and eager to learn
• You have experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Rhino 3D
• Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 is a great advantage
• Possess good English communication skills, both written and spoken
