Education: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or enrolled in a university to complete a degree

Supervisor:

Essential Functions:
1.    Experience in job development, case management, or crisis intervention with youth.
2.     Organizes and facilitates group peer meetings for youth in the program.
3.    Manage control group list and maintain contact to increase retention. 
4.    Provide a supportive environment where program participants can connect with peers, share experiences, and continue their personal growth journey.
5.    Develop group agendas and monitor participant outcomes.

Measurable Deliverables:
1.    Maintains contact with youth as assigned.
2.    Offers individual and group support as appropriate.
3.    Completes all files and program documentation to include data entry, accurately and on time.
4.    Participates in resource fairs in the community as assigned.

Other Responsibilities:
1.    Maintains own schedule of office visits and events.
2.    Identifies and maintains professional relationships with clients and community partners.
3.    Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service training, and meetings with community partners.
4.    Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the Director and appropriate law enforcement agency within 24 hours.
5.    Performs Crisis intervention techniques to promote client safety.
6.    Completes all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
7.    Maintains accurate records regarding delivery of services, safety planning, etc.
8.    Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
1.    Must pass criminal background check.

Credentials, Skills and Abilities:
1.    Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to:
 First Aid     CPR     Other      
2.    Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background (fingerprints needed if applicant has lived out of state within the past 5 years)
3.    Demonstrate the ability to:
a.    Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b.    Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
c.    Work in a fast-paced environment.
d.    Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
e.    Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
f.    Manage time effectively and efficiently.
4.    Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
