OverviewSummary The Sewanee Intern Program is a semester-long, immersive experience designed for high-potential students from the University of the South (Sewanee) who want to understand how energy infrastructure actually gets built, financed, and operated at scale. The intern rotates across ENFRA’s core business functions on a monthly basis, gaining direct exposure to strategy, sustainability, analytics, and field operations in a way no classroom can replicate. Rather than being confined to a single desk, this intern works alongside senior leaders, attends site tours with the CEO, and builds real fluency in the energy-asa-service model that is reshaping how institutions manage their built environments. The program culminates in a capstone project—the intern identifies a real problem or inefficiency within the business, develops a recommended solution, and presents findings directly to the development team. This is a role for intellectually curious, self-directed students who want to leave a semester with genuine business experience and a clear sense of where their career could take them in energy, infrastructure, or sustainability.
