ABOUT THE ROLE
The intern will work with finance, sales, investment and technology teams to analyze structured and unstructured data using AI enabled tools, statistical modeling, and automation techniques. Projects may include building dashboards, enhancing data pipelines, identifying patterns in sales data, and exploring AI use cases to improve decision making and operational efficiency. The role emphasizes translating data insights into clear, business relevant findings for senior stakeholders. Interns will gain experience with modern analytics platforms, primarily Co-Pilot and Power BI, and responsible AI practices. This position is designed to provide accelerated learning, mentorship, and practical exposure within a professional investment management setting.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Take online course work utilizing LinkedIn Learning
- Review Sales Data to familiarize yourself with the data
- Analyze sales data and identify patterns, trends and opportunities
- Develop reports with Power BI that can be used by senior stakeholders
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Minimum Education Required:
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Enrolled as either a Sophomore, Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Minimum Specific Experience Required:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsorship is available.
WHO YOU ARE
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and computer competencies, with an emphasis on quantitative analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point skills to support data analysis
- Acute attention to detail and proofing
- Demonstrated initiative, a broad perspective, creativity, and good quantitative intuition
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of securities markets, products, and behavior
