Job Summary

The Commercial organization manages the company’s worldwide commodity marketing and trading portfolio. Commercial works closely with the regional business units to market ConocoPhillips equity production and improve realized commodity values. In addition, the Commercial organization is responsible for generating value from third party marketing and trading.

Depending on placement, interns will either support fundamental market analysis (supply/demand balances, price forecasting, and market intelligence) or quantitative modeling (pricing, simulation, and optimization), working alongside analysts, quants, and traders on live commercial projects. Interns will be paired with a supervisor, mentor, and buddy for the duration of the internship and will deliver a final project presentation to Commercial leadership.
Intern assignments are offered at ConocoPhillips global headquarters located in Houston, Texas.
