The FedEx St. Jude Championship is seeking a Tournament Operations Intern. This role is based in Memphis, TN and will support the Tournament Operations Manager in the planning and execution of the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Dates and Hours: Mid-April to Late August (Event dates are August 6 – 10, 2025)
April – June: 40 hours/week
July – August: 50-100 hours/week
Post-Event: 40 hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational experience in Sport and Hospitality Management, Business, Communications, or another related field
  • Prior exposure and experience with golf tournaments or sport and event planning/operations preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with others and a team is essential

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Assist Manager Tournament Operations in all aspects of tournament planning including: vendor communication, equipment organization and budget adherence
  • Develop and maintain new and existing databases or spreadsheets related to vendors, equipment, and other on-site tournament plans
  • Receive, inventory and manage all deliveries to the golf course, while developing an effective storage plan for all equipment
  • Oversee several tournament areas during event week
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
