The intern will support the team in managing project and product operations activities, maintaining tools and processes, improving reporting and visibility, documenting requirements and workflows, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through better processes and automation.
The role provides exposure to cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Program Management, and other business stakeholders in a global organization.
What You Will Be Doing
Project & Operational Coordination: Support assigned projects and operational initiatives by tracking actions, milestones, dependencies, risks, and follow-ups.
Product Operations Tool Support: Assist with the day-to-day use and support of tools such as Jira, Aha!, and related product or project management platforms. This may include supporting boards, filters, dashboards, workflows, fields, and basic automation under guidance.
Requirements & Process Documentation: Work with stakeholders to understand operational requirements, document existing processes, and help translate business needs into clear process or tooling requirements.
Dashboard & Reporting Support: Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards and operational reports using tools such as Jira, Power BI, Grow, Aha!, or similar platforms to improve visibility into work status, trends, and operational performance.
Process Improvement & Automation: Help identify repetitive or manual activities and support opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate processes.
Tool Adoption & Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, templates, training materials, and best practices to support consistent use of PMO and Product Operations tools.
Data & Reporting Quality: Support periodic reviews of operational data and reporting to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or opportunities to improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Program Management, and other teams to support operational initiatives, tool adoption, reporting, and process improvements.
What Could Set You Apart
Exposure to Jira, Aha!, Power BI, Grow, or similar workflow, roadmap, reporting, or business operations tools.
Experience supporting cross-functional teams, documenting requirements, coordinating tasks, or improving operational processes through internships, academic projects, coursework, or other practical experience.
Basic understanding of Agile, product development lifecycle, workflow management, reporting, or business process improvement.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze information, identify root causes, evaluate potential solutions, and make sound recommendations with appropriate guidance.
Ability to communicate clearly, learn new tools quickly, follow established processes, manage assigned tasks effectively, and escalate issues when guidance is needed.
Interest in using AI, automation, or low-code/no-code tools to improve productivity, documentation, reporting, or operational processes.
Exposure to tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint, SQL, or similar platforms is an advantage but not required.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Operations, Project Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong interest in technology, product operations, project/program management, business systems, data analytics, or process improvement.
Comfort working with data, reporting, dashboards, and technology tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assigned tasks and priorities.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document information clearly and collaborate with stakeholders.
Willingness and ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes in a fast-paced, global environment.
