Job Description
Support Technical Accounting & Controls and External Reporting departments on various projects and daily tasks. Responsibilities include a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, accounting research, and maintenance of internal control framework. All assigned tasks will be managed and reviewed by a member of the Technical Accounting & Controls Team.
Responsibilities:
Assist in technical accounting research for both US GAAP and international standards; read and interpret guidance to assist with management’s conclusion and documentation of appropriate accounting treatment
Ad-hoc assistance with the External Reporting team as assigned in connection with required SEC filings and other non-recurring projects
Prepare journal entries and cash flow summaries for complex intercompany transactions
Assist with maintenance of process documentation and corporate accounting policies
Ad-hoc assistance with preparation of statutory financial statements and support of the global statutory audit process in accordance applicable standards
Assist in preparation of ESG reporting aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to emerging ESG compliance and reporting rules
Assist with implementation of accounting standards applicable to the organization
Analyze, create and post journal entries in BPC and SAP S4 Hana
Assist in review of business contracts to identify and document key accounting considerations
Assist with coordination and compilation of data for additional reporting and analysis as required
Assist with internal control activities by attending control process walkthroughs, gaining an understanding of business processes and key controls, and supporting related documentation efforts
Participate in pre-planned intern events such as senior leader meetings, goal setting, and collaborative team presentation
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate major in Accounting or Finance (preference: candidate completed three years of undergraduate studies / entering senior year in an accounting major)
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Proficiency with personal computers and associated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software
Experience with accounting information systems is considered a plus
Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
Competencies:
Understanding of basic accounting and finance, analytical skills, Excel skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and comply with internal deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Initiative and results oriented
Ability to build productive relationships

Sitting and working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
Primary work environment is within a corporate office setting to travel commercially and internationally
The salary range for this role is:
$19.00- $29.50 an hour
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
