Job Description
Position is intended to provide assistance with tax compliance matters while gaining general experience and exposure in the Corporate Tax Department.
Responsibilities:
- Exposure to the tax provision accounting process and assisting in the preparation of components
- Extraction and analysis of accounting records for preparation of components of the tax return
- Preparation and analysis of tax package submissions
- Assist in preparation of federal and state income tax returns while developing knowledge and use of Corptax (tax preparation software)
- Preparation and compilation of state allocation and apportionment information through spreadsheet applications. Reconcile data to the financial statements and other general ledger data.
- Compilation and preparation of information for responses to inquiries from federal, state and local tax authorities
- Assist with research on tax issues and develop understanding of tax research tools
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
- Participate in pre-planned intern events such as Senior Leader Meetings, Goal Setting and LMS Training, Team Building Tour and Final Presentation
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate major in Accounting or Finance (preference: candidate completed three years of undergraduate studies / entering senior year)
- Minimum completion of Intermediate Level Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0

The salary range for this role is:
$19.00- $29.50 an hour
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
