What you will be dong:

Helen of Troy is seeking a Supply Planning Intern to support our Supply & Demand Planning team. Our internships are focused on supporting a multitude of world-class brands that offer innovative products used every day by millions of people around the world.

We will empower our interns with opportunities to deliver on business challenges aligned to their field of study – all while working right alongside field professionals and leaders who will support enhancing our interns’ skills and experience.

Based within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Supply & Demand Planning department in Lausanne, the role of the Intern is to offer day to day support/develop administrative tasks as part of continuous improvement initiatives while EMEA planning team transition with IGNITE.

Demand Planning Support:

  • Maintaining shipment information & inbound priorities with 3PLs

  • Linking forecast change communications and resulting supply availability with commercial teams

  • Ensuring correct inventory levels to support business needs

  • Item master data accuracy assessment and analysis

  • Development of the weekly planning tools, eg 52week, OOS Support with data entry and data maintenance (volume, planning prices, item substitution, product versioning, NPI)

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in Office applications

  • Preference for experience in Oracle, other ERP system knowledge advantageous

  • Bachelors level qualification

  • Work experience/knowledge of logistics/supply chain would be an asset

  • Computer literate (advanced xls a must)

  • Reporting skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Analytical skills

  • Full fluency in English

Qualifications

  • Full-Time undergraduate or graduate student (Must be at least a rising Sophomore or Junior of a four-year degree program)

  • Major / field of study related to applicable internship (i.e., Business Administration, Supply Planning and logistics, or Engineering)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Works well in a collaborative environment and able to work with different groups amidst varied objectives

Skills Required

  • Full-time undergraduate or graduate student (rising Sophomore or Junior minimum)
