Job Summary:
Internship in Supply Chain Department for Automotive Sector. This internship will help you to understand the working of Supply chain department within automotive industry. You will be exposed to various activities performed by supply chain team like material planning, inventory management, vendor coordination, order processing etc. It will also give you an opportunity to work closely with cross functional teams and contribute towards smooth functioning of supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Material Planning & Inventory Management - Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of stocks.
2. Order Processing - Help in receiving, checking and confirmation of orders received from customers or vendors as per process defined.
3. Vendor Coordination - Support in coordinating with suppliers/vendors for material deliveries and tracking of shipments.
4. Report Generation - Assist in preparing reports on inventory status, sales trends, material requirements, etc.
5. Data Analysis - Learn to analyze data related to supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement.
6. Documentation - Maintain records of all transactions and communications related to supply chain activities.
7. Cross Functional Collaboration - Work with other departments such as production, quality, finance, marketing etc. to ensure smooth flow of materials and information.
8. Projects - Participate in special projects assigned by senior members of the supply chain team.
Qualification:
Graduation (Any Stream)
Good Communication Skills (English & Hindi)
Basic Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Flexible to work in rotational shifts
Punctuality and Time Management
Interest to learn and grow in career
