Intern Software Engineer - AI based Functional Verification – 5 months (f/m/d)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Application team. This role focuses on enhancing  Cadence functional verification tool for behavioral models through the development of an application utilizing AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the Cadence platform and the app to understand and integrate existing frameworks into daily tasks
• Contribute to the completion and enhancement of our model library, including migrating existing models and their test environment
•  Drive the implementation and refinement of behavioral models, encompassing design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, and support of software products
•  Develop and maintain documentation related to the application, ensuring all processes and models are accurately captured
• Conduct AI-focused research and prototyping to support HDL  behavioral modeling, including the generation of checks/assertions and validation techniques to improve model testing and documentation.
•  Collaborate closely with Cadence R&D to define problem statements and develop innovative AI-assisted solutions

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Mandatory: Strong experience with Linux and programming. Familiarity with Markdown, Python, Typescript, and Nuxt
• Good to Have: HDL, VLSI, HW/SW understanding, SV/SVRNM/VAMS modeling experience, and experience with EDA tools like Virtuoso and Xcelium
• Nice to Have: Debugging skills, AI modeling, and problem-solving capabilities

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in English.
    - Solution-oriented with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to enhancing processes within a dynamic environment
• Education
  - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Digital Simulation, Data Mining, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning is preferred.
